Caring Sister
I am the daughter of two parents and the second oldest out of four girls (and three cats). Family is very important to me and I care deeply about my sisters, especially when I know they are having a hard time. We still fight often, which isn't abnormal for us, but when it comes down to it, we would do anything for each other.
Lover of Food
Food is one of my passions! I love to cook meals for myself and my roommates and finding new recipes to explore with. Baking is also one of my favorite past-times and the amount of baking I do increases the more stressed I am. However, most of all, I love eating food! If I had to pick three favorites, it would be steak, potato's (in any form), and soda. For dessert, I love anything lemon!
Art Appreciator
Art has always fascinated me. I took art classes in high school where I not only learned about art history, but I learned different ways in which I could express myself through art. My favorite forms of art are watercolor and acrylic paint and one of my favorite activities is going to museums in my spare time.
Giver of Advice
I am someone who cares passionately and I love listening to others problems. My friends will often talk to me about a difficult situation or decision they are facing and I love using a combination of personal experience and things I've learned as a Family Studies major to give helpful words of wisdom. It helps me feel fulfilled and is one of the ways I show my love for others!

Can we be best friends?! Just reading about how much you love making food and desserts made me hungry! I really enjoyed your epithets, I can tell you took time to really think these up and you did a great job with them. Family is super important to me too and I'm honestly jealous your so good at giving advice, because I'm the worst at it! But seriously, great job!

I literally LOVE all forms of potatoes (particularly french fries) and I'm a soda-holic (I worked at a soda place for three years) so reading about your love of food was so exciting for me. I also love all things lemon for desserts so I just relate to you on a deep level. I am the type of person who really likes to talk to people and I like input. I think I do better when I can get advice from others so I really admire and appreciate that you are good at giving advice and are confident in the advice that you give. Good job on your blog!

Personally, I'm working on trying to listen more to others and to empathize with their situations. It's cool to see someone who is so good at that already.

I think it is so cool that you really enjoy art. I mean I enjoy it but I am absolutely terrible at it. So any person who enjoys it and works with it is amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you live life to its fullest! I grew up with only one brother and I always wanted a sister. It’s wonderful that you love your family and care for them so much. Also, isn’t cooking/baking the best? I started cooking with my mom when I was little and then worked in a Syrian bakery after high school. Steak and potatoes is always a good choice! Lastly, if I ever need some support or advice, I’ll come to you. It’s great you are able to help so many people feel loved by giving advice.
ReplyDeleteI love that you stress bake! I have realized recently that baking does the same thing for me. It's so much fun! Baking cookies is my favorite, because they are relatively easy most of the time. I also think it's kind of unique to enjoy lemon the most out of all desserts. Chocolate is definitely my favorite, but I really love peanut butter and coconut, but not necessarily together.

I respect people a lot who are able to listen to others and to talk with them and be real. I think it's nice that you have so many hobbies as well.
